Alton Junior Knox

Alton Junior Knox, 70, of Midwest City passed from this life on June 11, 2019 at Brooken Cove Pointe on Lake Eufaula. He was born to Alton G. and Dorothy L.(Hughes) Knox on March 3, 1949 in Granite, OK. He Graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1967. Junior was a retired sprinkler fitter in the Fire Protection Business, Local Union 669. JR enjoyed fishing, playing Pool, and any sporting event, especially those involving the University of Oklahoma. BOOMER SOONER!! He enjoyed socializing with friends and family at his Lake place and The Coconut Shack. Alton proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his Parents. Survivors include a sister, Barbara Tanner and husband David of Harrah; a brother Roy Knox and wife Vicky of Choctaw; two nephews, Justin Blankenship and wife Aaron and Paul Knox; two nieces, Jamie Blankenship and husband Kenny Looney, and Kimberly Knox; three great-nieces Jaida, Josie and Kaylynn and two great-nephews Jaxon and Trace.
