ANNIE L. KENNEDY Former Harrah resident Annie Laurie Kennedy, who would have been 100 years old on March 1, left this earth to join her loved ones in Heaven on February 27, 2018 in Ft. Worth, TX. She was born March 1, 1918 in Rome, GA to Paul and Mary Morris. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Harrah, and provided care and a loving home environment for her son, Jerry, until his death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her husband Barney W. Kennedy. Survivors include her son William and his family of Fort Worth, TX and son Virgil and his family of Dahlonega, GA. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 in the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel at Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah, with interment in Memory Lane Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Kennedy will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Asa Smith Funeral Service. Tributes and acknowledgements may be placed on the Asa Smith Funeral Service web-site.
