Beckie Lee Ertel

Beckie Lee Ertel, 74, of Harrah left this life for her rewards in Heaven and a reunion with a host of relatives and friends on November 28, 2020 in Harrah. She was born Henry Andrew Dunlap and Margaret Hazel Woods Dunlap on May 15, 1946 in Long Beach, CA. The family moved from California to Harrah, OK in 1956 and Beckie spent the rest of her life here. She was a graduate of Harrah High School and Paul’s Beauty College. She was also a member of the Honor Guard Drill Team at then Eastern Oklahoma Junior College, Wilburton. Beckie was a hair stylist and also very talented in cosmetology. She was a fantastic cook and loved singing Karaoke, working in the garden, spoiling the grandkids and being a social butterfly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marge and Henry Dunlap. She is survived by her loving husband, Jon (Cully) Ertel; two daughters, Kellie Mead of Tulsa and Shawna and husband Curt Fain, also of Tulsa; five grandchildren, Tyler Cheek, Teddie Sartor, Henry Mead, Ian Fain and Isaac Fain; and siblings, John Dunlap and wife Paula of Harrah, Rada Ennis of Harrah and Mikie Patrick and husband Kenny of Harrah.
