Charles ‘Chuck’ Rockwell (June 15, 1958 – July 18, 2024) passed away Thursday, July 18th.
Chuck was born in Riverside, California to Frank and Wanda Rockwell who both have preceded him in death.
Chuck graduated from Choctaw High School. After completing high school, he worked at McDonalds, where he met his wife, Lorie. They had been married for 44 years. While working and raising his family, Chuck completed his Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Central, Oklahoma.
Chuck had a 30-year career serving as a field service engineer specializing in biomedical equipment. Chuck was an active part of his children’s lives as a scout parent, scorekeeper, and steady support. He shared his love for airplanes, space, music, and science with his children, grandchildren, and any other willing listener.
Chuck will be remembered for his quiet conversations, love of memes, dad jokes, and physics.
Chuck is survived by his wife Lorie; his daughter Audrey; his daughter Regina and her daughters Nova and Harley; his son Adam and his wife Mariah and their daughters Evey, Zoey, and Remy. Along with numerous Slagle, Rodgers, and Duncan family members.
A visitation will be held at Asa Smith Funeral Services from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, July 23rd. A casual Celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel of Asa Smith Funeral Services, 2039 Tim Holt Drive, Harrah, OK at 2pm, Wednesday, July 24th with a reception to immediately follow.
