Christopher Steven Hobbs

Christopher Steven Hobbs, 57, of Harrah passed from this life on March 3 2023, at his home in Harrah. Chris was born in Oklahoma City to Elaine (Nealy) Hobbs-Conners and Joe Hobbs on December 23, 1965. He grew up in Choctaw and graduated from Choctaw High School in 1984

He married Leslie Bray in 1987. He received his Associate Technical Degree from Metro Tech in 2002 and was employed as a Radiology Manager at OU Medical Center for 17 years. He was previously employed at Shawnee at TDK Magnetics where he was a manager. He loved sports, especially the ones in which his kids were participating and supported all their school activities.

Chris was an outdoorsman and also loved the Denver Broncos. Chris was a loving father and husband and taught his children the value of hard work, including how to change a tire. He also took them fishing. He also loved his dogs, Rosie, Sassy and Bennie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elaine and Joe Hobbs; and a brother, Matthew Hobbs.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leslie; daughters Jordan and husband Victor Redd of Norman and Jessica Hobbs of Moore; son Braden Hobbs of Tryon ; brother Keith Hobbs of Phoenix, AZ and sister Barlaine Sprinzl of Phoenix, AZ and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Harrah with Dr. Doug Jones, pastor, officiating. Services are under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah.
