Danny Edward Drew

Daniel Edward Drew "Danny" passed away at his home in Harrah, OK on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 65. He was born August 8, 1952 to Joe V. and Mary Drew in Harrah. Danny was a 1971 graduate of Harrah High School and a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church. He was previously employed as a truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed working on small engines for family and friends, taking pride in his ability to fix things that other people couldn't. Some of his other interests included hunting, fishing, working on cars and even braiding leather with his daughter, Lisa. Danny is survived by Rosie, the love of his life for more than 25 years; his mother, Mary Drew of Harrah; five children, Justin Drew and wife Ashley of Harrah, Casey Drew of Wellston, Lisa Drew of Harrah, Josh Lecesse and wife Stacy of Moore; and Sharon Hill and husband Danny of Madison, MS. He is also survived by three brothers, Bob Drew, Pat and Nancy Drew and John and Angie Drew, all of Harrah; two sisters, Mary Jane and Alexander (Sandy) Molnar of Hot Springs, AR and Margaret and Ray Stoelting of Eden Prairie, MN; five grandchildren, Kallen Drew, Kannen Drew, Brooklyne Stanley, Kaelyn Hill and Alyssa Hill, along with many nieces and nephews and other family members. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe V. Drew. Memorials may be made to Jones City Masonic Lodge #537, 108 NW 3rd Jones, OK. 73049.The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 6:00 P.M to 8 :00 P.M. at Asa Smith-Parks Funeral Home in Harrah. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Danny on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery in Harrah, OK. A rosary and wake will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Teresa Catholic Church at 6:40 p.m.
