Darrell Lee Tucker

Darrell Lee Tucker, 84, formerly of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on November 22, 2019 in Midwest City, OK. He was born February 8, 1935 to John H. Tucker and Mary Jones Tucker in Ralston, OK. He was a graduate of Shawnee High School in 1953 where he was an outstanding basketball player and went to work at Wilson Meat Co. after graduation. He worked there 34 years retiring in 1987 as a supervisor. Darrell served in the First Airborne Battle Group at Ft. Campbell, KY and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed playing golf and beekeeping. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Darla Jean Davis and a sister Mary Taylor and a brother E.J. Tucker Survivors include his wife Emily and two grandchildren, Jeffery Davis and Brad Davis. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's Ukranian Orthodox Church. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Jones, OK, with Father Raphael Moore officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Harrah, under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah.
