Darrell R Nabors

Darrell Richard Nabors, 75, resident of McLoud, passed from this life on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at his home in McLoud. Darrell was born October 13, 1946, in Oklahoma City to Donel and Vonola (Hawk) Nabors. The family moved to Dale, where Darrell graduated from Dale High School in 1964. Darrell had worked for a local dairy before working as a truck driver for Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG). At age 39, Darrell suffered a stroke and was disabled from that time on. Later in life, he married Juanita Thomas. The couple made their home in Midwest City, and Edmond, before moving to McLoud in 2004. Darrell loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. He enjoyed animals, especially his beloved Terrier Mix, “Missy”. Darrel was a man of God and spent a good portion of his day in prayer. He is a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in McLoud. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Juanita Nabors, of the home. Also, he is survived by many friends and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donel and Vonola Nabors, and two brothers, Davis Nabors, and Don Nabors.
