Dylan James Butler, 17, a senior at Harrah High School, left this life for his reward in Heaven on September 20, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born to Tim Vernon and Brenda Lou Landrith Butler on June 30, 2001 in Midwest City, OK. Dylan was a big-hearted, fun-loving gentle giant who made a practice of saving kids from bullying. He was a Chevy Man and a Master Technician enrolled in the auto mechanics program at Eastern Oklahoma County Technical Center. Dylan loved to read, especially National Geographic magazines, enjoyed sci-fi and was a self-styled comedian. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Delmar Butler and Jimmy Landrith. Survivors include his parents, Tim and Brenda Butler of Jones; brother Jimmy and wife Jessica Milligan of Harrah; maternal grandmother Mary Landrith of Jones; paternal grandmother Patsy Butler of Oklahoma City; nephews Caleb and Conner Milligan and niece Chloe Milligan, all of Harrah; aunts Cindy Butler of Oklahoma City and Lauren Goad of Harrah, uncles Tony Landrith of Jones, Mike and Dana Landrith of Oklahoma City, Chris and Anne Butler of Arkansas, David and Jeff Butler of Oklahoma City and cousins Chad and Isaac Landrith of Harrah Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Harrah Church, Dobbs and Reno in Harrah with interment at Harrah Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah.
