Edward Bo Byers

Edward (Bo) Byers Jr. 58, of Harrah, OK left this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City. He was born July 21, 1960 to Ida Locust and Edward Byers Sr. in Claremore. OK. He was a graduate of Harrah High School and was employed as a salesman. Bo enjoyed playing golf, fishing, music, and sharing his stories with his family at Sunday dinner. He was a proud member of the Cherokee Tribe and always celebrated his Native American heritage. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Byers Sr. a daughter Alexa Byers and granddaughter Jada Wheeler. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Onzahwah; two daughters, Shonna Byers and Tony Tiger of Little Axe and Reanna Byers of Shawnee; two sons, Brian Onzahwah of Shawnee and Dallas Byers and wife Brittany of Midwest City; his mother, Ida Byers of Harrah; a brother, Ronnie Byers of Harrah; two sisters, Patricia (Pitsie) and husband Chuck Henkel of Harrah and Brenda and husband Randy Holbrook of Choctaw; and one grandson Soaryn Tiger of Little Axe. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1 in the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel at Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah followed by interment and graveside service at 3 p.m. located at Barnoski Cemetery in Evening Shade Community in Vian, OK.
