Retired Chief Master Sergeant Everett G. (Marty) Martin, 89, of Luther left this life on September 28, 2018 in Midwest City, OK. He was born April 4, 1929 in Hewins, KS to Howard Ludley Martin and Esther Berdet Lewis Martin. He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years, retiring as a Missile Warning and Space Surveillance Specialist. Marty later married Alicia on July 2, 2005 in Reno, NV. In addition to his military service, Marty was an avid hunter and fisherman; especially for deer, elk and all manner of game fowl. He was a rancher who proudly raised superior, pure-bred Limousin cattle. More recently, he developed a strong interest in raising pure-bred chickens from incubation through maturity. Marty loved his prized bull Target, dog Coco and cat, Gismo. Marty was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Alicia of Luther, OK; daughter Jennifer (husband Dan Mathes) of Rocklin, CA; son Richard Martin of Roy, Utah.; a sister Claudeen Bruce of Collinsville, OK; grandchildren Amber Lane and Brent Lane and their families as well as Alicia's children and grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, Oct.. 9th at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel in Harrah, OK. Interment to follow at 2 p.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
