Frank Herman Graefe, 66, of Harrah, died Monday, March 15, 2021, at Integris Hospice of Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the Asa Smith Funeral Chapel of Harrah. Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Frank was born September 25, 1954, in Oklahoma City, to Vernon Orville and Geneva Tyine (Maddox) Graefe. He was reared and educated in Oklahoma City attending Star-Spencer High School, graduating in 1972. He later took courses in sheet metal fabrication and joined Local 124 Sheet Metal Workers Union. He retired in 2017. Frank married Marie (Nunley) on June 3, 1982, in Oklahoma City. The couple lived in Harrah all their married lives. Frank was an avid, hunter and fisherman and loved participating in rodeos. Survivors include his wife Marie of the home; sons Earnie and wife Shawnda Whisenhunt, Greg Whisenhunt, Rodney and wife Jill Whisenhunt all of Harrah; a brother Roy and wife Terry Graefe of Grandview, Texas; sister Shirley and husband J.W. Speaks of Midwest City; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson Justin Whisenhunt.
