Fred Wayne Edwards

Fred Wayne Edwards 79, of Harrah, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital South. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has been effected. Fred was born in Birmingham, Alabama, to Clarence Fred and Zelna (Mitchell) Edwards. He was reared and educated in Birmingham attending local schools. He married Glenda Bass in 1959. The couple lived Birmingham, moving to Harrah in 1981. He worked most of his life either as a welder or an owner/operator of a semi truck. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Glenda and son Joseph, both in 2020. Survivors include his brothers Myron and wife Kathy Edwards of Minco, Richard and wife Glenda Edwards of Choctaw; sister Barbara Ewing of Edmond, and several nieces and nephews.
