Gerald "Jerry" Byers

GERALD RAYMOND BYERS Gerald (Jerry) Byers, 82, of Harrah passed from this life to his rewards in Heaven and a reunion of a host of family and friends on November 7, 2020. He was born August 19, 1938 in Los Angeles, CA, to Harold H. Byers and Mildred Lehman Byers. Jerry was a carpenter by trade and was everyone’s handyman. He performed both rough and trim construction jobs. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of McLoud and an active member of the Harrah Church of the Nazarene. He had recently attended Life Church. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed fishing and camping and the whole Lake Life experience. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Kegin and his parents. Survivors include his wife Sally Victoria of the home; a son David Byers of Littleton, CO; deceased daughter Paula Kegin; grandchild Jackson Byers of Littleton, CO, Scott Kegin and wife Brittany of Harrah, Ryan Kegin of Midwest City and great-grandchildren, Kasin and Jensen Kegin of Harrah; and a brother Ken Byers and wife Ruth of Australia.
