Gregory Lynn Johnson, Sr.

Gregory Lynn Johnson Sr., 76, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2024.

Greg was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and much, much more. Greg had a blended family that he loved very much. He loved each one as if they were his very own. Greg was also known as a “fixer”. If you had a problem, he would be there to help if he could. He had a heart of gold. For the people that truly knew him, they would tell you just how much fun he was to be around. Just ask his “sister wives”.

Greg definitely loved the Lord, his family, and his friends.

He is survived by his wife Jackie of the home; his children: two sons, Greg Jr. and Cheryl of Purcell, and Zachary Harvey of OKC; 7 daughters, Connie and Robert Downs of Spencer, Sherry Byerley of Choctaw, Tracy Monical and Terry Wenger of Pontiac, IL., Brandi Boucher and Daniel Rivas of OKC, Jaime Stoltzenburg and Troy Edwards of Lincoln, IL., Michaelann and Byron Alverez of OKC, Toni Williams of Owensboro, Ky; 32 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patsy Billerbeck, Lester Johnson Jr., LaDonna Booth, Fred Johnson, Bobbie Stables, Kevin Johnson, Veronica Prichard; and many, many, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Dorothy Johnson; his grandparents; six siblings, Dewey, Donald, Pamela, Jacquelyn Johnson, Deborah Hornbeck, Linda Snow, and Greg’s wife, Linda Johnson and their daughter, Melissa Sipple.

Funeral services for Greg will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, Oklahoma. Viewing times will be Friday, March 8th, 8am-5pm, and Saturday, March 9th 1-6 PM, and his family will be greeting visitors from 2-5 PM, Sunday, March 10 at Asa Smith Funeral Service.
