Harriet M Marshall

October 30, 1942 — February 3, 2021

HARRIET M. MARSHALL Harriet Marie (Breske) Marshall passed from this life to her rewards in Heaven and a reunion with a host of family and friends on February 3, 2021 in Harrah, OK in the same house in which she was born. Harriet was born on October 30, 1942 to Vincent and Katie Breske. She was the youngest of five children. Growing up, she enjoyed being with her family and especially with her cousin and best friend, Victor Bulgewicz. She graduated from Harrah High School and married John Marshall on June 15, 1963. They were blessed with four children who then blessed them with eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Harriet dedicated her life to her faith, family, and friends. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church all her life, and was a member of the church choir. She was caring, clever, and full of life. Once she finished raising kids of her own, she dedicated her time caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether that be attending ballgames, school activities, or shh-ing them in the church pew on Sundays, she did it all with grace and affection. She enjoyed getting together with her close friends playing cards, going bowling, and eating at new places. She taught her loved ones many life lessons during her time here, that they will carry with them throughout the remainder of their lives, including being passionate and hardworking in whatever you do, finding the humor in hard and difficult times, and giving all glory to God at the end of each day. Her favorite thing to do was to gather her family together on Sunday afternoons after church and share a meal that she had prepared, and play games around the dining room table (even if she would cheat at cards at times!) She will be missed and remembered each day and the lessons and love that she instilled on her family will never be forgotten. She truly was an angel, and she is now wearing her crown and walking with Jesus in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Katie Breske; a daughter, Darla Harris in 1988; siblings Barbara Breske Austin, Dorothy Breske Brinkman and Gloria Breske McClure. Survivors include her husband John H. Marshall of the home; a daughter, Tracy (Marshall) Hartley and husband Carl, Harrah; two sons Gary Marshall and wife Billie, Harrah and Troy Marshall and wife Megan, Harrah; Grandchildren: Dell Harris and Katie, Ada, OK, Jared Harris and Katrina, Choctaw, OK, Marshall Hartley and Carli, Harrah, OK, Katarina (Hartley) Shearwood and Colton, Coppell, TX, Jolie, Conley, Rory Marshall, and Christian Sheets, Harrah, OK; Great Grandchildren: Daniel and Alexander Harris, Ada, OK; and a brother James Breske and wife Angeline of Harrah, OK.
