Haskell Lloyd Wright

Haskell Lloyd Wright, 71, of Jones, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at St. Anthony Medical Center, SSM Health, of Midwest City. Haskell was born September 21, 1952, in Oklahoma City, to Cleo and Elois Cora (Reid) Wright. He was reared and educated in Choctaw. Haskell married Teresa Allen on December 1, 1980; she preceded him in death on March 21, 2022, after 41 years of marriage. Haskell was a handyman doing many different kinds of work. He enjoyed traveling with Teresa on his motorcycle and was especially fond of dogs they had together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Don and Jesse Wright, Raymond Reeves, sisters Delores Brown and Marlene Starnes.

Survivors include his sisters Jenice Monroe of Newalla, Arlene Case of Moore and Pat Maness of Mustang and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The casket will be open 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday the funeral home.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Elmwood Cemetery of Choctaw.
