Henry Joseph Cooper Jr.

Henry Joseph Cooper Jr., 63, beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, has passed away. He was born July 1, 1956, to Henry Joseph Cooper Sr. and Bessie Myrl Donaghey Barbin in Buras, Louisiana. He passed from this life on September 16, 2019, at his home in Wellston Oklahoma. Henry graduated from Boothville-Venice High School, He graduated from Nicholls State University in Louisiana. He worked as an electrician at Deltone Electric and also for CRC Wireline Inc. before moving to Oklahoma where he worked at Johnsmanville for 14.5 years. Henry was preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother Gordon Cooper. He is survived by his wife Eva Cooper, three children: Henry J. Cooper III, Brett A. Cooper, Heather E. Cooper. Four stepchildren: Allen Lane Hess Jr., Sherry M. Hess, Christopher M. Hess and wife Angela Hess, and Ryan J. Hess and wife Lee Hess. Two Brothers: Gerald L. Cooper and wife Kimberly C. Cooper, and Shannon Barbin and wife Rhonda Barbin. Two sisters: Connie Barbin and Patricia A. Cooper Edwards and husband Marion Edwards. Nine step-grandchildren: Koda J. Hess, Summer A. Moorman, Samantha L. Hess, Nickolas M. Tarbutton, Corbin A. Mallard, Cade A. Mallard, Tyler S. Burleson, Curtis G. Neasbitt, and Michael B. Vanderhoef. A memorial will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019, it will be all day at 331812 East Timber Lane, Wellston, Oklahoma 74881. We are having a BBQ and pot luck, so bring what ever you like and join us in celebrating Big Henry.
