Jackie Don Voss, 85, of McLoud left this life for his rewards in Heaven and a joyous reunion with a host of family and friends on January 6, 2020, in McLoud, OK. He was born November 15, 1934 in Hector, AR to Richard Franklin Voss and Eva Linton Voss. He graduated from Hector High School in 1952 and served 20 years and 17 days as a transportation supervisor in the U. S. Air Force and retired in 1972. He worked as an electrician after retiring from the Air Force. He and his wife Wanda were married in Wichita Falls, TX on January 18, 1957. He was an ordained minister and loved to preach God's word and sing gospel music. He enjoyed going to church and playing gospel music on his guitar. He was a member of McLoud First Assembly of God Church. Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, a brother James, four sisters, Cleta Pruitt, Mary Carr, Betty Voss and Maydell Voss and a grandson, Kenneth He is survived by his wife Wanda of the home; a son Gerald and wife Tina Voss of McLoud, OK; three daughters, Treasa and husband Donnie Roper of Choctaw, Beckie and husband Mike Holman of McLoud and Mickie and husband Rhett Banks of McLoud; a brother, Bill Voss of White Oak, TX; two sisters, twin sister Doris Rider of Oklahoma City, OK and Judy Bostic of Locust Grove, OK; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. at McLoud First Assembly of God Church followed by interment in Dale Cemetery under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service.
