JAMES CRAIG INGRAM

James Craig Ingram, 67, of Harrah, went to Heaven and gained his wings for a joyful reunion with a whole host of family and friends on February 3, 2023 at St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City. He was born to James and Wanda Smith Ingram on August 16, 1955 in Ada, OK.

Craig attended Star-Spencer High School and joined the U. S. Army in 1972. He was a master carpenter, specializing in creating beautiful cabinet doors. He loved his family and loved spending time with them. He loved to go fishing and really was into all kinds of music and enjoyed going to lots and lots of concerts.

He also loved spontaneous road trips, often taking off with family on the spur of the moment to lots of different places, enjoying the scenery and just being with his family. Craig also enjoyed ALL Oklahoma Sooner sports but football was his favorite and his favorite pro team was the Kansas City Chiefs. He'll have to watch them in the Super Bowl from Heaven this year, but you can bet he'll be cheering them on.

But his real passion was his grandkids and he cherished every moment he could spend with them.

He is preceded in death by his father James and his grandparents Jim and Jewel Ingram.

Survivors include his wife Carrie; his mother Wanda Ingram and companion Larry Smith of Tecumseh; five sons, Justin and wife Mary Blevins-Ingram of Florida, Shane and wife Angel of Virginia, Richard Ingram of Eufaula, OK, Chris Bacon of Harrah, and Curtis and wife Shelby Bacon of Choctaw; two sisters Sherry and husband Don Ragsdale of Shawnee and Alecia Tracy and companion Troy Ragsdale of Shawnee' 8 grandchildren, Hope, Faith, Landon, Emma, Levi, Teagan, Trenton and Brandon; and 3 great-grandchildren Elijah, Andrew and Sebastian and 2 on the way.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb 10, 2023 at the Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel with Pastor Justin Harris of Community Church, Forum, AR officiating.
