Jeffrey Doyle Winters

Jeffrey Doyle Winters, of Harrah, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday evening, March 22, 2024, with his family. He was 62 years old. Born on June 20, 1961, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Jeff was the son of Bobby Dale Winters and Eva Louise (Steincamp) Winters. He was raised and educated in Harrah, graduating from Harrah High School in 1979. Following his graduation, Jeff pursued higher education and later married his high school sweetheart, Jane Lynn Drewry, on May 29, 1982, at the Harrah United Methodist Church. Together, they built a home in Harrah. Jeff was the general manager of Aramark Food Service for several years and truly enjoyed all aspects of the business.

Jeff was deeply committed to his family and community. He was actively involved in the lives of his children, whether coaching their sports teams or simply spending quality time together, Jeff cherished every moment with his family. His dedication to education and community service was evident in his longstanding tenure on the Harrah School Board, where he served for over 15 years.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Dale Winters and Eva Louise Winters, and his sister Carisa Winters.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Jane; his daughters, Jayma McClaugherty and husband Darin, and Jordan Masters and husband Andrew, all of Oklahoma City; his sons, Jake Winters and wife Kristyn of Harrah, and Josh Winters and fiancée Adi Vinyard of Midwest City; his three cherished grandsons, Colin McClaugherty, Noah Masters, and Micah Masters; and his brother, Craig Winters, and wife Shelley of Stillwater. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jeff's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Asa Smith Funeral Service of Harrah. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ALS Association. Donations may be sent to ALS Association, Attn: Oklahoma, 1950 Craig Road, Suite 200, St. Louis, Missouri 63146. Jeff will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, generosity, and service will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched.
