Jerred Dawayne Yancey, 46, died of unknown causes and passed into Jesus’ arms on Sunday evening, September 22nd, 2024, AD at his home in Harrah, Oklahoma. Jerred was born December 3rd, 1977, in El Paso, Texas, to his parents John and Mona Yancey. He was able to travel the United States as a child. His favorite memories as a child were the three years he lived in Alaska. His family settled in Texas where he met Rosa Guerra. They married on April 29th, 1999.

He became a member of IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) and became a journeyman electrician in 2000, and in 2004, he studied for and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. He spent the last weekend of his life spending quality time with his family.

Psalm 78:4, 6 &7: “We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born, who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:”
