Jimmie Dean Green, 59, of Harrah, died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Anthonys Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Harrah Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah. The casket will be open at the funeral home for visitation on Saturday and Sunday 1 pm to 8 pm. Jimmie was born January 19, 1962, in Prague, Oklahoma, to Raymond L. and Nona Sue (Boren) Green. He was reared and educated in Oklahoma City and Harrah, graduating from Harrah High School in 1980. He married Kathy Hopper in 1981, the couple was later divorced. Jimmie, later married Nancy Carpenter on June 8, 2002, making their home in Harrah. He worked as a civilian supervisor for in the jet engine maintenance department at Tinker Air Force Base for many years. He also had served as a reserve police officer for the City of Harrah. Jimmie enjoyed woodworking, especially woodturning and making walking sticks. He loved the great outdoors and spending time camping and fishing. Jimmie was a member of the Composite Masonic Lodge #107 A.F. & A.M. of Shawnee. He was a member of the Choctaw nation. Survivors include his wife Nancy of the home; children Halie and husband Dan Alcorn of Alex, Hannah and husband Cory Dye of Hickam AFB, Hawaii, Melissa Chevere of Tecumseh, Josh and wife Amy Green of Choctaw, Paul Kinman and partner Lana lish of Tulsa; brother Tommy Green of Harrah; step-siblings Bonnie Kommer of Tecumseh, Cindy Melton of Spencer, Rickie Lawson, Jackie Lawson and Shari Ashmore of Newalla; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers James Dale JD Green and Leslie Gene Green. The family requests that those attending visitation or services to take all suggested COVID precautions. Wear a mask and wash your hands often. If you have health complications, please opt out for live streaming or go attend the viewing. Jimmie would understand your caution and I (Nancy) dont want anyone of you to become sick as a result of paying your respects. Hugs to you all!!
