Jo Ann Landrith

Jo Ann Landrith, 83, of Heavener, OK, passed from this life on January 24, 2021 in Heavener to claim her rewards in Heaven and reunite with a large number of loved ones and friends. She was born to Emmit Homer Smith and Ethna Pearl Dowell Smith on July 21, 1937 in Ladonia TX. She was a homemaker who greatly enjoyed her family. She was an awesome Mom and much loved “Moo” by her grandkids. She was greatly loved and respected by the deaf community. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Landrith; one daughter, Sharon Rees in February 2016; one son, Eugene Hodge in January 2013, six brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Danny Lee Landrith of Choctaw, OK and Ronald Wayne Landrith of Sayre, OK; two daughters, Glenda York and husband Aaron York Jr. of Heavener, OK and Susan Landrith of Oklahoma City; one brother, Alton Smith of Choctaw, OK; 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and a host of additional family and friends.
