Joelina L Garcia

Joelina Louise Garcia, 57, of Stroud, died Monday June 6, 2022, at the St Anthony’s Hospital of Midwest City. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022, at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel in Harrah. Cremation has been effected. Joelina was born April 9, 1965, in Bakersfield, California, to Susan Hunt. She was raised in California and later Florida. Joelina lived and worked in many places in Tennessee and Colorado, and Florida before moving to Oklahoma. She worked for nursing homes for several years, but for the last two years or so has been working the housekeeping department at St. Anthony’s Hospital of Midwest City. Joelina was known for her kindness and patience for others and was a natural born caregiver. She took great pride in being a mom and grandmother, raising her family with all the love she possessed. Survivors include her children Michael and wife Danielle Garcia of Midwest City, Anthony and wife Jackie O’Neill of Kendrick, Lucas and wife Rachel O’Neill of Malone, Kansas, and Candice O’Neill of Stroud; brother Steven Morrow of Kendrick; four grandchildren Alexandrea Garcia, Javion Law, Autumn O’Neill, and Dennis O’Neill.
