Joe Williams grew up in Meeker, OK and attended Meeker High School “Home of the Bulldogs”. He attended Rose State College and shortly after joined the U.S. Navy where he served his time as a medic and played baseball for the U.S. Navy as one of the lead pitcher’s. Joe also dedicated his time as a drug and alcohol counselor. He moved to Mcloud, OK where he stayed until his passing. He was a loving father and is survived by his two daughters Adriana Bowers and husband Travis and Jessica Williams. Loving grandfather to his granddaughter Aubrey Bowers, and grandson Aidan Bowers. A friend and brother to Stacy Williams and wife Debbie. A friend and loving cousin to Randy Bennett and wife Liz, and Shelly Bennett Morris.

Joe was so special to family. He had the biggest heart and was always willing to help others. He loved music and he loved to sing. Some of our most fond memories of him are singing to rock in roll in the car. He loved the Eagles “Hotel California” and even got to see them live in concert. Joe loved nature and he loved to collect rocks and other memorabilia from his time spent outdoors. He loved baseball and collected several baseball cards. Joe had a funny sense of humor and an infectious laugh.

Joe was a follower of Christ and prayed daily. Most of all he loved his daughters, and he loved spending time with family.

Family and Friends will miss his presence, his laugh, and loving character.

A memorial was held in his honor  in Mcloud, OK.
