Joseph "Jojo" Fred Edwards

Joseph “JoJo” Fred Edwards, 37, of Norman passed away on November 26, 2020 in Norman. Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Home, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK 73045. JoJo was born on March 6, 1983 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Fred and Glenda Edwards. JoJo was the “Miracle Child” for Glenda and Fred. Growing up, JoJo loved to play football and baseball. He played various games on the computer, enjoyed fishing and fast cars. He graduated from Little Axe High School in 2001. He loved to help people and this passion carried over to his career. He was working at Lighthouse Group Home which specializes in helping children stay out of the justice system. He had spent the last 10 years helping others at the Lighthouse Group. He is preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Edwards; his grandparents, Joseph and Evelyn Bass and Clarence and Zelna Edwards. He is survived by his father, Fred W. Edwards; Fiancée, Hanah Revell; Daughter, Katie Lawrence and a large group of friends and extended family members. A viewing will be held at Asa Smith Funeral Home, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK 73045 on December 7, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
