Judith "Judy" L Fixico

Judith “Judy” Lyvonne Fixico, 70, of Shawnee, formerly of the Harrah/McLoud area, passed Monday, April 10, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center. Judy was born December 13, 1952, in Sulphur, to Hubert Ray and Willie Josephine (Langford) Beasley. She was reared and educated in McLoud, graduating from McLoud High School in 1971. She married James Fixico in 1970, at the McLoud Pentecostal Holiness Church. The couple made their home in McLoud, and Choctaw while raising their sons. Then later moved to Sulphur, Tulsa and Midwest City, before settling in Shawnee in 2013. Judy was a homemaker but went to work for the State of Oklahoma for the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. She retired in 2011. Judy was active in her sons’ lives attending their activities and was the President of the Choctaw Homerun Club. She continued to be active later in life for her grandchildren and truly enjoyed spending time with them. She was a generous and loving caregiver to her family and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 53 years James Fixico, Sr. of the home; sons James, Jr. “Jamie” and wife Angi of Bixby, Anthony “Jacob” Fixico of Durango, Colorado; brothers Ray Beasley of Wellston, Ricky Beasley of Davis, Mike Beasley of Archer, Mark Beasley of Davis; seven grandchildren Gunner and wife Abby Fixico, Sydney and husband Jared Buckaloo, Alexandria Fixico, Teyan Fixico, Jonah Fixico, Marie Yarbrough and Kenyon Bessell; two great-grandchildren Garrett and Asher.

The casket will be open at the funeral home 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery. Pastor Tim Boyett will officiate.
