KATHERINE JO (HELM) FRY Katherine Jo (Helm) "Kathy" Fry, 64, of Harrah passed from this life to her rewards in Heaven and reunion with family and friends on August 17, 2022, at her residence in Harrah. She was born to Walter Martin Helm and Emma Ozeeta Hall Helm on September 10, 1957, in Oklahoma City. She received a BS Degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse for 30+ years. She was an active member of the Harrah Lions Club, the Harrah Historical Society and Harrah United Methodist Church. Kathy was an adventurer, enjoying travel, food and SCUBA diving the Caribbean. Finally tying down her husband, Marty, she learned the art of camping, hunting and fishing. Her greatest joys were her grandkids and she happily sought more adventures in being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Helm; her mother Emma Ozeeta Hall Helm and her brother, Wayne Helm. Survivors include her husband Marty Fry of Harrah; son Denison Helm of Abilene, TX; daughter and best friend Molly Fry of Harrah; Step-son Jarred Fry of Moore and step-daughter Katelynn Blalock of Norman; Sister-in-law Marsha Helm of Harrah; nephew Matt Helm of Edmond and niece Casey Helm of Colorado Springs, CO. And finally, her Donor Sister Tammy Davenport, who provided the kidney that prolonged our precious time with her. Funeral services will be at Harrah United Methodist Church at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022, with Dale Durnell officiating, followed by cremation and interment at a later date in Wellston Cemetery with her parents.
