Kedrick "Rick" L. Bradberry

February 19, 1945 — February 16, 2022

KEDRICK L. BRADBERRY Kedrick Lester Bradberry, 76, of Choctaw passed from this life to his rewards in Heaven on Tuesday, February 16, 2022, at Integris Hospice Care, Oklahoma City. He was born to Lester and Isabel Zockert Bradberry in Watertown, SD on February 19,1945. His family moved to the Choctaw area in June of 2004. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Kedrick was an amazing husband and awesome Pop. He served in the Army for four years in the transport division during the Vietnam War and was Director of Operations in the telecommunications industry, retiring from AT&T in 1991. He worked for Southwestern Bell, Pacific Bell and Pacific Telesis before retiring. He then went to work for TCG Fiber Optic Company in San Diego, CA and retired again in 2002. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed snowmobiles and was a big time hot rod enthusiast, especially enjoying sprint car and drag racing. Kedrick was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Penny Richter Bradberry; a son Travis and wife Maribel Bradberry of Solana Beach, CA; two daughters, Dawn and husband Jon Andrews of Solana Beach, CA, and Ronna and husband Jeff Forbes of Choctaw; a sister Janet and husband David Dennis of Colorado and five grandchildren, Logan Forbes, Olivia Forbes, Jade Andrews, Allister Bradberry and Jordan Andrews. Services are under the care of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah, and condolences and tributes may be posted on the funeral home web-site www.asasmith.net
