Kyun "Kim" Tok Rogers

Kyun Tok Kim Rogers, departed this life for her heavenly reward on April 1st, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 12, 1956, in Seoul, Korea to the late Tong Son Kim, father and late Ok Ye Yu Kim, mother. Kyun affectionately called Kim by all, was a Christian and loved the lord. She fervently prayed to God regularly and wanted to be all that God wanted her to be. She loved family and was the caregiver for her mom until her passing. She was generous and helpful to all that needed a helping hand. Kim meets Walter Rogers in Seoul, Korea, while he was in the service. They married December 13, 1977 and moved to the states in June 1980 with their two sons, Walter Rogers III and Joseph Rogers. She put all her energy into taking care of her husband of 45 years, never losing sight of her sons and grandchildren who she loved dearly. She was a good cook of Korean cuisine with many favorites by her family. Kim worked for the Government Civil Service, retiring after 25 years. After retiring that gave her time to spend with her only granddaughter Yumi. Kim loved to garden and share with all of her neighbors and friends. Kim leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband, Walter Rogers Jr., two sons, Walter (Jennifer) Rogers III and Joseph Rogers. Eight grandchildren, Makaylia, Walter (Alex), Sage, Koa, Bendigo, Caleb, Jalen and Yumi Rogers. Two brothers, Ta Sik Kim and Jeom Sik Kim and one sister n laws Kathy (Kenny) Stone. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery. Pastor James Jackson will officiate.
