Leslie Sue Lorie

Leslie Sue Lorie, 80, of Harrah, passed July 4, 2021, at her residence. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Days Saints, Choctaw, Oklahoma. Leslie was born November 13, 1940, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Francis Cliffton Herrington and Mildred Dora (League) Herrington. We bid our mom the fondest farewell, her laughter will be missed the most! Mom blessed a lot of people on her journey, her children the most. She taught all of us in her way, each one different. She loved all of us, each one different with equal enthusiasm. Mom saw the world her way and that was okay too! We will miss your hugs… We will miss your calls… We will miss you… Survivors include a daughter Barbara and husband Tom Hampton of Baytown, Texas; sons Richard and wife Lisa Knippel of McLoud, Robert and wife Erin Knippel of Oklahoma City, 5 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Richard Herrington. Arrangements are under the care of Asa Smith Funeral Service of Harrah, Oklahoma.
