Lester Allan Helsley

Lester Allan Helsley of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the age of 53. Lester was born on December 18, 1965 in Flint, Michigan. He was the son of Allan Dale and Elaine Gail (Bellinger) Helsley. Lester was a long time Harrah resident and graduated from Harrah High School with the Class of 1984. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Lester was a loving husband. He married Alicia Paige Taylor on December 10, 1999. The couple made their home in Harrah. They enjoyed nearly 20 years of marriage. Lester was also a dedicated father. He had two children, Aidan Helsley and Rori Helsley. He was also a great son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by many. Lester was known for his love of BBQ, cooking and hunting. He also had a great passion for hot rods, classic cars and big trucks. He even made a career out of his love for big trucks. Driving big trucks for many companies, United Petroleum Transport was the most recent. Lester was preceded in death by his father, Allan Dale Helsley. He is survived by his wife, Alicia Paige Helsley; mother, Elaine Gail Helsley; son, Aidan Helsley; daughter, Rori Helsley; brother, William Helsley and his wife Kim; Sister, DeLynne Teoli; nieces, Ciara, Morgan, Cheyanne and Harleigh; great nephews, Landyn and Callaghan; great nieces, Kylee and McKenzie. He is also survived by a host of family and friends. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.at First Baptist Church of Newalla.
