Linda Lou Groverman-Norman

Linda Lou Groverman-Norman, 79, of Harrah, died Friday, October 7, 2022, at Fountain Brook of Midwest City. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah. Cremation has been effected.

Linda was born January 10, 1943, in Drumright, to Dale Laverne Ramsey and Ruth Lenore (Kiester) Ramsey. She was reared and educated in Drumright and Bristow, graduating from Bristow High School in 1961. She later attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. She married Gene Doles in Santa Barbara, CA, the couple had two daughters and were later divorced. She married John Groverman in 1974, the couple moved to Harrah, in 1983. He preceded her in death in 1999. Linda married Dale Norman in 2001. The couple made their home in Harrah and were members of the Choctaw Road Baptist Church. Dale preceded her in death in 2021. Linda worked as an administrative assistant at the Oklahoma Journal-Record for the Oklahoma Press Association, and later for the Harrah News as a typesetter. Lastly, she worked for Jack Onofrio Dog Shows, helping to organize and run dog shows. Linda was an avid gardener, passing down her love of flowers to her daughters. She loved going camping and to the lake and spoiling her granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Nancy Batt and husbands John Groverman and Dale Norman.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her daughters Shi Ann and husband Bill Ingalls of Harrah, Tuli and husband Gary Berryhill, of Oklahoma City; brother Don and wife Dorma Ramsey of Tulsa; granddaughters Amanda Ingalls-Brunzell and husband Scott Brunzell, Berlynn Matson; and great-granddaughters Ellison Brunzell and Kylee Wilson .
