Lois Cecilia Chicoine

Lois Cecilia Chicoine, 87, of Choctaw passed from this life on April 10, 2019 at her home in Choctaw. She was born November 16, 1931 to Albert and Cecilia Regan Simpson in Philadelphia, PA. She and Joseph Chicoine were married in Oklahoma City on October 31, 1951. Lois was an excellent cook and loved to crochet and work cross stitch. She also loved to work crossword puzzles. She was a loving mother and recipient of an Outstanding Homemaker Award. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Roy and daughter Suzanne. Survivors include her husband, Joseph; children, Gerry and Lamar Chicoine of Dallas, Tom Chicoine of Choctaw, David Chicoine of San Antonio, TX, Phillip and wife Leisa Chicoine of Choctaw; Marta and husband Terry Head of Choctaw; and Dolores and husband Patrick Gibson of Newalla; a sister Claire Simpson of Oklahoma City; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends Rosary will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 6.40 p.m. followed by the wake at 7 p.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Harrah. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019 at St. Teresa followed by interment in St. Teresa Cemetery.
