Lonnie Dale Clear, 70, of Harrah, OK. Pop left this life on October 9, 2018 in Midwest City, OK. He was born on January 14, 1948 in Hinton, OK to Lester Owen and Lois Genevieve "Coe" Clear. If you asked Lonnie he would tell you he came underground from Cordell OK to the family peanut farm just north of Eakly, OK. He grew up in those peanut fields moving irrigation pipes and hoeing weeds. Lonnie was full of stories about those times. He loved his older brother Larry (Boy Howdy) so much that he taught him to count, Larry was five years older. Boy Howdy paid him back by throwing a smudge pot out of the chicken house window and it hit him on the forehead. The scar remained his entire life. Lonnie is survived by his wife of 36 years, Brenda Lawson-Clear of the home. Brother, Larry (Betty), Lookeba. Children Chanda Kolb, Eakly, Juli Henderson (Mike), Newalla, Kristi Stricklen, Harrah and Sharla Harris (Jeremy), Claremore. He loved his grandchildren Brook King, Andy Clear, Logan Stricklen, David Bertrand, Kaelin Harris, Joshua Harris and Rilan Harris. And his faithful companion Lillie. Lonnie was a Truck Driver. To him his most important job was driving for the Harrah Senior Center. When someone wanted to shake his hand he would say he does hugs because that what his friends from the senior center taught him to do. He is going to be missed by family and friends alike. The celebration that Lonnie asked for will be November 17 at 10am at the Harrah Senior Center. Come and share your memories of Lonnie and wear bright colors.
