Louise Teresa Seward, 88, of Lawton, formerly of Harrah, died Friday, March 12, 2021, at the Brentwood Assisted Senior Living facility of Lawton. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021, at the Asa Smith Funeral Chapel. Private family burial will be in St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Cemetery in Harrah. Cremation has been effected. Louise was born December 25, 1932, in Harrah, to John Charles and Josephine Magdeline (Rominski) Rozak. She was reared and educated in Harrah and Choctaw. Louise married J.E. Seward on April 4, 1959 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. While J.E. served in the United States Air Force, the couple and sons made their home in various places around the country and the world. Toward the end of his Air Force time they acquired property from Louise’s father in Harrah where they built a house and she enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and fishing alongside her husband until his death in 2007. When she could no longer take care of herself she moved to Brentwood Assisted Senior Living in Lawton until her death. Survivors include her sons Gregory and wife Dina Seward of Cache; Roger Seward of Tallahassee, Florida; sister Chris Glasscock of McLoud; grandchildren Lauren and wife Rachel Franklin of Dallas, Texas; Melisa Seward of Norman; great-granddaughter Sydney Franklyn and one more great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, son John, and sisters Victoria Barnes and Virginia Young. Arrangements are being made through Asa Smith Funeral Service of Harrah.
