Marchie Dean "Boots" Francis, 86, of Harrah passed away on March 30, 2020. Dean was born July 30, 1933 in Canadian,Ok to Jeff and Margaret Elizabeth (Kitchens) Francis. He worked as an aeronautical mechanic at F.A.A. in Oklahoma City, and served in the U.S. Air force during the Korean War. "Boots" graduated from Chilocco High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and O.U. He did bead work and was a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He also was a printer for the Allen, Kingfisher, and Stillwater, OK newspapers. Survivors include two daughters: Denise McCorkel of Oklahoma City, OK, Marcie Morphew of Noble, OK, son: Robert Francis of Oklahoma City, OK, one brother: Mitchell Francis, eight grandchildren: Stephanie Garland, Aubree Sandburg, Heather Pugh, Alex Holt, Dean, Kaycee, Austin and Elizabeth Morphew, and seven great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Suzanne Manship-Francis and a brother, Robert Francis. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 3, at 11:00A.M. at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
