MARIA DEL SOCORRO LESLIE Maria Del Socorro Leslie of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away on November 27, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years. Maria Del Socorro Leslie was born on March 20, 1938, in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a teenager she came to the United States to be with family settling in Orlando, Florida. While living in Florida she met Richard Wayne Leslie Sr., and they married on April 16, 1957. She continued to live with family until Richard was discharged from the Air Force. They then made their home in Bakersfield, California where she served her family as homemaker. Richard preceded her in death on June 12, 1985, and she continued to live in Bakersfield, California, until 2015 when she moved to Harrah, Oklahoma, to be near her son. She was an active member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. She loved to sing and prayed daily for her family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and twenty-one brothers and sisters. She is survived by three sons, Richard Leslie Jr, of Bakersfield, California, Kenneth Leslie of Harrah, Oklahoma, and Albert Leslie of Oklahoma; one daughter, Christine Leslie of Bakersfield, California; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother; and one sister. Rosary services are scheduled for 7:15pm Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, with Father, Deva Undralla officiating.
