Maria Guadalupe Cantera Haro, 94, who was born in Mexico, moved to California in 1955 and moved to Harrah, OK in 2017, passed from this life to join a large group of friends and family on November 15.2024, in Harrah. She was born to Enrique Cantera and Francisca Maldonado Sanchez Cantera on January 18, 1930, in Panindicuavo, Michaecan.

She married Rigoberto Haro in 1980. She was a teacher in Mexico for Federal Rural Teacher Service. She was also a stay-at-home mother and active in PTA at Evergreen Elementary in Los Angeles and PTO at Emerton Elementary in San Bernardino, CA while her grandchildren were in elementary school.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique and Francisca Cantera and her husband, Rigoberto Haro.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Maria Hernandez of Shawnee, a son Luis Hernandez of Massachusetts, Grandchildren Andrew Alvarez of Oklahoma City and Justin, Karoline and Angel Gomez, all of Shawnee and step-daughter Connie Haro of California.

Private memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.
