Marina Stepanoff

Marina Stepanoff, 76, of Choctaw, OK passed from this life on July 27, 2020 at her home in Choctaw. She was born to Vladimir Stoopin and Irene Dimitrievsky Stoopin on October 10. 1943 in Shanghai, China. She and Peter Stepanoff were married in San Francisco, CA on November 24, 1963. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and working in her flower garden. She also loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her father Vladimir Stoopin and brothers Dimitri and Nicolai Stoopin. Survivors include her husband Peter Stepanoff; two daughters, Marina Thomas and husband Larry of Jones and Lana Brown of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Tatiana Thomason and husband Rich of Heritage, TN and Kira George and husband Mike of Smithville, MO; and her mother Irene Stoopin of TN; Grandchildren Kayla Darby and husband Clay, and Nicholas Brown and Sabah Khan; and many nieces and nephews that she adored. Services will be 10 am. Thursday, July 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Jones, officiated by Father Myron Korostil and Father Raphael Moore with interment in St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, NE 63 and Dobbs Road under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah.
