Mark Wade Morgan, 59, of Harrah, passed at his home, January 16, 2023, with his family at his side. Mark was born July 2, 1963, to Charles J. and Opal Marie (Crawford) Morgan in Harrah. He attended local schools graduating from Harrah High School in 1981. Mark began work as an electrician’s apprentice shortly thereafter. He became a licensed electrician in the years that followed. Mark married Jacky Jaques on May 9, 1992, at his parents’ home. After their passing, Mark and Jacky made it their home and raised their children there. Mark drove trucks for several years before starting Morgan Electric with his brother Greg, a local business that has become well known for their pride of workmanship. Mark never knew a stranger and loved meeting new people. He was a strong supporter of his family and always active in his children’s lives. He may have been an electrician by trade, but Mark loved to work on cars helping many family members, friends, and neighbors with their automotive needs. He also worked on his collection of classic cars, especially 60s model Mustangs, alongside his good friend John Cook.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and brother Billy Brannon.
Survivors include his wife Jacky of the home, daughter Emily Morgan-Cottrell and husband Michael Cottrell; son Eric Morgan; brother Greg and wife Traci Morgan; sister-in-law Kim Jaques; grandson Michael “MJ” Cottrell, Jr.; nephews Brad, AJ, Kevin, Jeremy; nieces Ali, Beth, Alex, and Lorya.
