It is with profound sadness and much love that the family of Mary Idell Meehan White of Harrah, OK, announce her passing as she left this world on October 3, & went Home to be with Our Heavenly Father.
Mary was born Oct. 20, 1960, at T.E. Schumpert Memorial Sanitarium in Shreveport, LA to Kenneth and Jean Meehan. She was the 2nd of their 4 daughters and spent her youth as a Military Brat who learned to call home wherever the family was stationed & loved experiencing the different cultures while living in France and the Philippines. She graduated from Mount St. Mary’s High School in OKC & continued her education at Central State University (UCO) where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in computer science. Tinker AFB was her first employer where her astute mind, strong work ethic, and her ability to always think outside the box brought her much success & satisfaction as Mary always loved a challenge.
She will forever be lovingly remembered by her first and only love, John F. White of Midwest City, OK. Mary is survived by her three children, Lauren Pearo & spouse, Shaun Pearo of Oklahoma City; Alexandria West & spouse John R. West II of Oklahoma City; and John R. White of Mustang; grandchildren, Madison Pearo, Blakelee White, John R. West III, Kainoa West, and David West; her sisters Terri Pasha, of St. Augustine Florida; Royce A. Wright & spouse, Michael Wright, of Moore; and Brenda Sizemore, of Moore. Mary is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, Kenneth & Jean Meehan of Harrah; in-laws John M. White and wife Catherine White, brother-in-law, Andrew Pasha of Pompano Beach Florida; and Jim Sizemore of Moore.
Mary enjoyed a tall glass of unsweet tea, LOVED Notre Dame football, a good book (especially Anne Rice & Patricial Cornwell), music and was an avid lover of animals, most of all, Jeter, her Jack Russell Terrier. Mary spent the last 14 years living with her parents and was there to care for them when they needed help. She stated that she would be forever grateful for having those years living with her parents as it gave her the opportunity to love, laugh and admire them on a deeper level.
