MARY LOUISE LOWERY Mary Louise Young Lowery, 87, left this life for her rewards in Heaven and a reunion with a host of family and friends on June 15, 2021 at her home in Choctaw. She was born in Tiptonville, TN on June 14, 1934 to Marvin H. Young and Bertie Mae Wynick Young. As a young girl, she dated James Lowery in their hometown. Later, they met and started dating again and were married on December 10, 1955 in St. Louis, MO. She was a homemaker, who greatly enjoyed cooking and having her family and friends around her. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James. Survivors include a daughter Ramona and husband William Marse of Greenville, Texas; son James "Mike" and wife Connie Lowery of McLoud; three sisters, Betty and husband John Daniels of McMinnville, TN; Dorothy Ramos of St. Louis, MO and Shirley and husband Bill Norsworthy of Union, MO; and two brothers, Billy Young and Jackie Young, both of St. Louis, MO. Gravside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah. Open visitation will be held at the Asa Smith Funeral Service, 2039 Tim Holt Drive in Harrah from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
