Michael Leon Cogdill

Michael Leon (Mike) Cogdill, 76, of Harrah passed from this life to a joyful reunion with his wife Gwyn and a host of friends and relatives on September 5, 2022, at his home in Harrah. He was born to Vernon Cogdill and Leone Beavers Cogdill on August 6, 1946, in Wilson, OK.

He married Gwyneth Alexander in Ardmore, OK on April 16, 1966, and they had one son, Treves. The couple moved to Harrah in 1971. Mike was a welder and worked at OG&E for 22+ years.

Mike was a kind and compassionate man and truly loved by everyone. He enjoyed hunting and even played some golf years ago. He loved to read newspapers, magazines and books, anything printed.

He is preceded in death by his wife Gwyn and his parents, Vernon and Leone Cogdill.

Survivors include his son Treves Cogdill, and wife Michele of Harrah.
