Michael V Collyer

Michael Vincent Collyer was born on May 17, 1961 to Billy and Dawn Collyer in Swartz Creek, MI. He graduated from Harrah High School in 1979. Mike married the love of his life, Danielle, on August 2,1986. He entered into eternity on Monday, December 19, 2022.

Mike devoted his life to Christ at a young age. He spent his life serving God and others. Brother Mike was the pastor of Pink Baptist Church for 14 years until his passing. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, gardening, learning, watching his daughters play sports, playing with his grandkids, and making memories with his cherished wife of 36 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Collyer of Tecumseh, Ok, daughter and son-in-law Shelby and Brandon Gibson and grandchildren Marlee and Collyer of Harrah, Ok; daughter and son-in-law Maddison and Jacob Ingraham and granddaughter to be Elizabeth of Harrah, Ok; sister and brother-in-law Kimberly and David Stevens of Ohio; brother and sister-in-law Gregory and Leslie Collyer of Harrah, Ok; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mike lived by his favorite verse John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

The viewing will be held on Thursday, December 22 from 3:00 - 8:00 at Asa Smith Funeral home. Service will be on Friday, December 23 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Harrah.
