MINNIE KATHERINE SEARS

Minnie Katherine Sears, 93, of Harrah passed from this life to her rewards In Heaven and a glorious reunion with a host of family and friends on April 6, 2023, at McLoud Nursing Center. She was born December 21, 1929, in Ozone, AR to Benjamin Harrison Warren and Mary Susie Smith Warren. She was a homemaker and provided a loving home for family and friends.

She married Odis Sears on July 11,1946 in Arkansas and they eventually moved to Yukon and then settled in Harrah with their three boys in 1957 when Odis went to work at Tinker.. Minnie was a homemaker and also worked as a nurse's aide at Midwest City Regional Hospital for awhile. She always enjoyed working in her flower gardens, liked to go camping and fishing and especially cooking for family gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odis in October 2001, seven brothers and sisters and an infant son Michael at birth.

Those left to mourn her passing include her sons Tim and wife Kathleen, Tony and wife Treva and Chris and wife Toni, all of Harrah; a brother Kermit Warren of Clarksville, AR and a sister Barbara Parker of California; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 10 at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah.
