Neverna Kay Higdon

Neverna Kay Higdon age 72, our beloved; wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother left this life on March 23, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK. to Leslie and Neva (Snipes) Sipes. Kay graduated from Midwest City High School and attended OU for some time. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother . She loved to cook when friends dropped by the house she made sure they left full. She never meet a stranger. She loved to garden both vegetables and flowers and canned the vegetables that came from her garden. Kay Loved to fish,loved nature and taking care of the birds in the area by making sure the bird feeders were full.she married Marvin Larry Higdon in Spencer, Ok. on May 2, 1975. Kay is survived by her husband Marvin Larry Higdon of Harrah, OK., two sons and daughters-in-law Shane and Gina Higdon of Jones, OK., Wayne and Karen Higdon of Norman, OK., one daughter and son-in-law Lisa Pearson and husband Jeff of Ft. Myers, FL., two brothers; Art Sipes of Choctaw, OK., and Ronnie Sipes of Moore, OK., six grandchildren Cameron and Colby Higdon, William Hohensee , Lindsey Miller, Mehgan and Molly. 5 great-grandchildren; Ryder and Paisley Miller, Caleigh Hayden, and Maddi Hohensee and one other on the way. Kay is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Leslie Sipes. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel In Harrah, OK., with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery Choctaw, OK.
