NORMA CLARK-HALE
Norma Faith (Shelton) Clark-Hale went to be with the Lord and a host of many friends and family on May 15, 2023. She was born to Everett Leo Shelton and Neva Lou (Swagerty) Shelton on January 26, 1938.
Norma was an accredited piano teacher and retired from Southwestern Bell. Teaching piano was her passion. She enjoyed teaching and taking students to contest but most of all was her attachment and love for her family.
She was regarded by everyone as a great friend. Words cannot express the love she had for other people. Norma was a 34-year member of the Harrah United Methodist Church where she served as organist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, J. O. Clark and Ival Hale, a daughter Cindee Faith Clark Johnson; and a brother Mike Leo Shelton.
She is survived by a sister Joni Waldman of Chandler, OK; a niece Traci Waldman of Minneapolis, MN, a son J. O. and wife Tessa Clark of Norman with four grandkids; a son Clay Clark of Choctaw and three grandkids; and a son-in-law David Johnson of Manchester, England.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Harrah United Methodist Church, 2224 Harrison Ave, Harrah, OK 73045 followed by interment at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service.
Friends may call and visit at the Funeral Home, 2039 Tim Holt Drive, Harrah on Wednesday, May 24 from noon to 6 p.m. Condolences and tributes may be posted on the funeral home website www.asasmith.net
