Patsy Ruth Poe

Patsy Ruth Poe age 92, of Luther, Ok. our beloved mother,grandmother and great-grandmother, left this life on March 7, 2018. She was born to Van and Sarah (Goodwin) Bell in Carrizo Springs, TX. on September 23, 1925. Patsy graduated High school from Carrizo High School and had some College from Southwest Texas State Teachers College. She married Don Poe on July 20, 1945. She worked for the Department of Agriculture in Washington DC. advancing to executive secretary. Her grandkids would tell you she was loving and caring . She loved to be a hostess in her home to many who dropped by, whether to visit or to play bridge. She and her late husband Don would love to ballroom dance, going to the local nursing home or a special event to perform. They started the Regal Dinner and Dance Club in Washington, DC. She was known to be down to earth and loved to travel. She is preceded in death by her parents Van and Artie Bell, husband Donald Bryce Poe Sr., four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her one son and daughter-in-law Donald Bryce Poe Jr. and wife Susan Poe of Mint Hill, NC., one daughter and son-in-law: Starlene "Star' Arps and husband Terry Arps of Luther, OK., seven grandchildren Tindle Jean Arnold (Phillip), Audra Paige Urbanic (Frank), Jonathan Kent Arps (Katie), Allison Marie Monroe (David), Natalie Blythe Moore (Scott), Christopher Bryce Poe (Blanqui) and Kathleen Ruth Poe, seven great-grandchildren:Melany Erin Arnold, Ava Corrine Urbanic, Casey Paige Urbanic, Micah Brandon Urbanic, Asher Owen
